Artist’s Statement for Origin Story:
The commercials, homeware collection & livestream were created to accompany Origin Story, an existential pop song I released in November. I’m interested in the American grotesque, and how we sanitize materialism, earnestly retweet opinions from billionaires, think Birkin bags look good (lmao) and as the catastrophes pile up, we double down.
